Ten Things I've Learned in May

1. I am way more than reasonably capable of writing the "Dummies Guide to Homelessness"
2. When you ride a bike in a town with hills you really need to make sure it has brakes first.

3. The term "Family" has undergone a tremendous shift during the two generations that have passed since my grandparents had family.
4. Hydrate. Must.drink.water.

5. You can really count on nothing but yourself and your abilities.

6. The only way to avoid disappointment is to avoid expectations.

7. NEVER write or dial while drunk - it can be much more
dangerous than driving drunk, just in a different way.
8. Yoga, meditation, Reiki and breathing can correct a lot of things.
9. Perfect fitting jeans are priceless. For real.
10. The kindness of the oppressed and impoverished
can take your breath away.
